Spotify Improvements V.2

A big hurdle for many users in using streaming music services is having the ability to integrate their currently existing mp3 library into the same ecosystem. This is especially annoying for DJ’s and artists who frequently use and need MP3 files. Spotify would be an unbelievably good app if they could fix how buggy and terribly integrated the “Local Files” are. They claim to allow you to integrate “Local Files” aka mp3’s or an equivalent audio file format into mobile, but the process is so confusing to make it unusable, and actually not possible in some peoples case.

On mobile Spotify doesn’t allow you the ability to re-arrange the order of songs in a playlist. All they’d need to do is just allow you to long press on an item and re-arrange the order by dragging the song to your desired location. I can imagine most people are interacting with Spotify on mobile just as much as on desktop and it’s quite frustrating to have to use the desktop client specifically to re-arrange the order of your playlists.

A partial example of what it would look like partway through dragging a song inside playlist.
